Associate Director of Communications

About the role

PlaySimple is seeking a strategic yet hands‑on Communications Director to shape internal culture and external brand perception. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive storytelling, strengthen employee engagement and amplify the company’s presence across India and global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a company‑wide internal communications strategy that connects employees to the mission, values and strategic direction.
• Partner with leadership and HR to cascade key messages across studios and teams, shaping CEO messages, town halls, newsletters and employee campaigns.
• Build and execute PlaySimple’s external PR and brand strategy across India and international markets, managing media relations and press announcements.
• Collaborate with external agencies to secure visibility in tech, gaming and business media, and identify opportunities for industry recognition.
• Support M&A and partnership initiatives by raising PlaySimple’s profile and credibility in target markets.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in internal communications, PR or brand strategy, preferably in tech, gaming or consumer digital companies.
• Proven ability to work across Indian and international media landscapes.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a strong sense of tone, timing and audience.
• Demonstrated influence with senior leaders and cross‑functional collaboration in high‑growth environments.
• Creative mindset combined with business acumen to link communication efforts to measurable company goals.
