Associate Director – Financial Controller

About the role

The Associate Director – Financial Controller will lead financial reporting and analysis to support strategic business decisions. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and analysis for the group.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial strategies.
• Provide insights to improve financial performance and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve organisational goals.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.
• Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 12‑15+ years of experience (CPA US desirable).
• Strong expertise in US GAAP and working knowledge of Indian GAAP.
• Proven experience in internal controls, SOX compliance, financial governance, audit management and risk‑management frameworks.
• Exposure to publicly listed organisations, preferably NASDAQ‑listed, with regulatory reporting experience.
• Understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), lease accounting, tax management and corporate finance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large finance teams in complex global environments.
• Prior experience in IT services, ITES, SaaS, healthcare, construction or GCC environments is preferred.
