Associate – Data & Analytics (Mainframe/Cloud)

About the role

PWC is looking for an Associate to join its Data & Analytics practice in Gurugram. You will help clients uncover enterprise insights, build data‑driven solutions and deliver rapid business intelligence using a mix of mainframe, cloud and modern data technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mainframe applications (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, IMS, CICS).
• Build and optimise data pipelines on Hadoop, Hive, Spark and AWS services.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualisations for business intelligence reporting.
• Implement AWS data services such as DMS, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation and serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, EventBridge).
• Collaborate with insurance‑domain business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in data engineering, mainframe development or cloud‑based analytics.
• Any academic qualification; a background in insurance is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a client‑facing environment.
