Associate Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

SLB is looking for an Associate Cyber Security Engineer to join its Cyber Security Team in India. The role will focus on protecting the organization’s data, systems and networks while supporting the development of security controls across multiple domains.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, upgrade and maintain security measures for data, systems and network infrastructure.
• Assess digital infrastructures for vulnerabilities and conduct security testing and scans.
• Participate in change‑management processes and help develop security controls for DevSecOps, data security, identity management, application security, IoT/OT and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to establish best practices and security standards.

Required profile

• Strong interest in cyber security and a desire for a long‑term career in the field.
• Good academic record (high GPA) with relevant projects or internship experience.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language; Python preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and operating systems.
