Associate – Core Banking FS Tech Advisory

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to support core banking transformation for retail banks. You will work across deposits, lending and payments, helping clients design, implement and continuously improve end‑to‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Map and analyse current (AS‑IS) processes for deposits (CBS), lending workflows (LOS/LMS) and payment journeys.
• Design optimal future (TO‑BE) processes that meet regulatory standards such as RBI, KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS and NPCI guidelines.
• Document Business Requirements (BRD), Functional Requirements (FRD), process maps (BPMN), SOPs, SLAs and control frameworks.
• Collaborate with bank business, operations, risk/compliance and technology teams to drive efficiency, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Support functional solutioning, gap analysis and change‑request coordination with bank and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Graduate degree with interest in financial services and technology advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Understanding of retail banking products (deposits, loans, cards) and related regulatory requirements.
