Associate Consultant – Strategy & Operations

About the role

Join the Infrastructure and Climate Advisory practice as an Associate Consultant, supporting multidisciplinary teams that help public and private organisations deliver complex infrastructure projects. You will work across transport, energy, digital and social infrastructure, collaborating with government bodies, developers, investors and large corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants throughout the full lifecycle of infrastructure engagements – from strategy formulation to performance monitoring.
• Develop analytical reports covering market assessments, feasibility studies, business cases and capital investment plans.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership pieces, white papers and sector intelligence to enhance market knowledge.
• Support global advisory teams in business development activities, including proposal and pitch preparation.
• Conduct research, synthesize insights and create client‑facing presentations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships independently across member firms.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate or MBA from a recognised Indian or international institution.
• 1‑3 years of strategy experience in corporate, consulting or public‑sector roles.
• Hands‑on exposure to any infrastructure sector (e.g., transport, oil & gas, broadband, real estate, utilities).
• Understanding of the infrastructure asset lifecycle and its strategic implications.
• Experience in strategic planning, market trend analysis and opportunity identification.
• Strong analytical abilities for data analysis, risk assessment and market studies.
