Assistant/Deputy Manager – Quality

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Quality will lead real‑time inspections across manufacturing stages, ensuring products meet all quality standards and ISO 9001 requirements. You will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve non‑conformities and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct real‑time inspections during various manufacturing phases and report defects or non‑conformities.
• Develop and execute quality control plans, SOPs and checklists to guarantee consistent inspection.
• Collect and analyse inspection data to spot trends, potential issues and improvement opportunities.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions and maintain detailed inspection records and quality reports.
• Ensure all quality processes comply with industry standards, ISO 9001 and customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality and manufacturing process inspection.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques.
