Assistant/Deputy Manager – Product Quality Engineer

About the role

Bosch Group is seeking an Assistant/Deputy Manager to lead product quality initiatives for automotive engine components. The role combines audit, problem‑solving, and customer support responsibilities within a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct product audits of produced parts using CAQ tools.
• Make decisions on quality issues and implement containment actions.
• Train auditors, associates, and engineers on product quality and QMS standards.
• Participate in PFMEA, line walks, and Gemba meetings on the shop floor.
• Lead LPC and DQRM meetings with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with IATF, AIAG, and Bosch internal guidelines.
• Initiate and follow up D3 containment, D4 root‑cause analysis, and D6/D7 corrective actions.
• Act as the “Mr. Customer” – support customers on CRI/CRIN quality topics and ensure CSR fulfillment.
• Coordinate lessons‑learned meetings across the international production network.
• Lead problem‑solving projects through System CIP, Speed Week, and Shainin methods.
• Prepare MIS reports for plant management.
• Accompany customers and auditors during site visits.
• Support audits, conduct trainings, and attend virtual meetings with EU customers.
• Travel to customer locations to address concerns and provide timely support.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
• 5–7 years of industry experience in automotive or precision machining.
• Knowledge of automobile engine systems and basic QMS concepts.
• Experience with PFMEA, SPC, 8D, Six‑Sigma, VDA6.5, VDA6.3 is a plus but not mandatory.
