Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims will coordinate with service‑provider partners to ensure timely settlement of Travel and OPD claims. The role involves conducting medical and technical audits of approved claims and maintaining accurate MIS and reporting dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with partner teams for prompt claim settlement.
• Perform regular medical and technical audits of claims approved for payment.
• Prepare and submit periodic and ad‑hoc MIS reports related to claims.
• Develop Excel shortcuts, formulas, and alternative tools to accelerate reporting.
• Conduct sanity checks before report submission and close audit observations.
• Train partner claim processors on policy terms, time management, and delegation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on data and MIS requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in claims coordination and settlement processes.
• Ability to conduct medical and technical audits of health insurance claims.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, shortcuts, data manipulation)
