Assistant/Deputy Category Manager – Travel

About the role

MMT Holidays is seeking an Assistant/Deputy Category Manager to drive growth and innovation for its travel packages. Based in Gurgaon, you will work closely with product, marketing, supply and operations teams to shape category performance and enhance the customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual growth roadmaps using traveler insights, market trends and competitive analysis.
• Lead high‑impact projects from ideation to rollout, building robust business cases and phased implementation plans.
• Design, build and maintain performance dashboards and business‑intelligence tools to monitor progress against targets.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Revenue and Product teams to accelerate growth and ensure strategic alignment.
• Identify new growth opportunities through industry benchmarking and innovative strategies.
• Own the end‑to‑end customer journey, removing friction points and delivering a seamless travel experience.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape priorities and provide data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree from a reputable institute.
• 2–5 years of experience managing a category in internet, e‑commerce, travel or a similar environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder‑management skills.
