Assistant Vice President – Process Transitions

About the role

The Assistant Vice President will lead end‑to‑end process transitions for our clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This senior position partners with Business Transitions, Operations, and Business Development teams to design, implement and continuously improve transition frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of process transition projects, from planning through go‑live and stabilization.
• Develop detailed project plans with defined tollgates, responsibilities, timelines and status tracking.
• Establish governance models, escalation matrices and “ways of working” to drive consistent execution.
• Collaborate with program leads, operations managers and quality teams to review transition performance and provide mentorship to managers.
• Work with Business Development and Strategic Deal teams to create customized transition solutions and value propositions for new client engagements.
• Conduct due‑diligence and operational identification (OP‑ID) activities, prepare statements of work and recommend outsourcing options.
• Innovate the transitions function by evaluating new tools, redesigning methodologies and incorporating best practices across engagements.
• Design and deliver training programs for Transition Managers covering functional, domain and professional development topics.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale process transition or implementation projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess performance metrics such as go‑live timing, stabilization periods and gross margin impact.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, interacting with senior business users, IT personnel and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive continuous improvement and influence cross‑functional initiatives.
