Assistant Vice President – Auditor (International Audit)

About the role

The Assistant Vice President – Auditor will join the International Audit team of a leading bank. This intermediate‑level position is responsible for executing audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document internal audits across various business units.
• Assess the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls and risk mitigation measures.
• Report audit findings, provide recommendations, and follow up on remediation actions.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and external regulations.
• Safeguard the bank’s assets by identifying control weaknesses and proposing improvements.
• Deliver value‑added advisory services to support the bank’s strategic objectives.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level professional with experience in internal audit, preferably within the banking sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting audit results.
