Assistant Tax Manager – Corporate Tax (Mumbai)

About the role

DHL Group is seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Mumbai. You will support the management of corporate income tax, GST, and transfer pricing matters for DHL entities in India, ensuring compliance and optimal tax outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate income tax returns and other direct tax compliance documents.
• Review advance tax calculations, monitor tax payments, and support tax provisioning and deferred tax computation.
• Handle withholding tax obligations, reporting, and related assessments.
• Manage direct tax audits, investigations, and coordinate technical submissions to tax authorities.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation, studies, intercompany agreements, and related audits.
• Provide advisory support on cross‑border transactions and international tax issues.
• Monitor GST audits, investigations, and respond to departmental enquiries.
• Stay updated on Indian and international tax regulations and assess business impact.

Required profile

• Full‑time, permanent position based in Mumbai, India.
• Experience in corporate tax, GST, and transfer pricing compliance within the Indian tax framework.
• Ability to work with internal tax advisors, legal counsel, and external advisors.
