Assistant Revenue Manager

About the role

As an Assistant Revenue Manager you will support the hotel’s revenue strategy by balancing demand and inventory, ensuring optimal pricing and availability across all channels. You will work closely with Front Office and other departments to maximise financial performance while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage room inventory and rate structures, adjusting cut‑off dates based on demand trends.
• Collaborate with Front Office leadership to implement sell‑out strategies and maintain daily inventory balance.
• Lead weekly revenue management meetings to review booking trends, pricing tactics and market opportunities.
• Monitor key revenue reports, analyse booking pace and refine strategies to improve performance.
• Develop and maintain annual transient pricing across all distribution channels.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and annual revenue and demand forecasts.
• Track competitor pricing, market events and demand indicators to inform pricing decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospitality revenue analysis or a related revenue management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to forecast demand and optimise pricing.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Strategic thinker with a results‑driven attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revenue Management Systems (RMS).
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
