Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering seamless daily operations at our Lonavala outlet. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of food and beverage service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant activities.
• Ensure food & beverage service meets company standards and guest expectations.
• Supervise, train, and motivate the service team, conducting pre‑shift briefings and assigning duties.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor hygiene, grooming, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the restaurant.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Manage table turnover, reservations, special requests, and VIP guest requirements.
• Support cost control by monitoring food & beverage waste and operational expenses.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the Restaurant Manager.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
• 4–7 years of experience in food & beverage or restaurant operations.
• Ability to maintain compliance with SOPs, HACCP, hygiene, and company policies.
• Reporting line to the Director of Food & Beverage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food & beverage cost control and waste management.
• Understanding of HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Proficiency in preparing operational reports.
