Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of our restaurant outlet within a five‑star hotel environment. You will help ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the high standards of service, hygiene and efficiency expected from a luxury hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance with five‑star hospitality standards.
• Supervise, train and motivate the service team, monitoring grooming, hygiene and performance.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Housekeeping and other departments for seamless service delivery.
• Drive revenue through upselling, promotions and guest engagement initiatives.
• Monitor inventory, breakage and operating supplies while adhering to cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP and statutory requirements.
• Support the Outlet Manager with rosters, performance evaluations and training plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage service operations, preferably in a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or specialty outlet.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience using restaurant management software.
