Assistant Professor – Reading & Writing Courses (Foundation Program)

About the role

CEPT University is seeking Assistant Professors and Academic Associates to lead reading and writing courses within its Foundation Program. The position is based in Ahmedabad and focuses on developing professional communication skills for first‑year design students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver writing workshops for architecture, urban planning, interior, product, and construction technology students.
• Provide detailed written and oral feedback on students' professional communication.
• Develop and adapt curriculum, teaching materials, and pedagogy to meet the needs of collaborating institutions.
• Coordinate faculty development and capacity‑building workshops.
• Collaborate with internal faculty and CEPT Professional Programs to plan and conduct communication workshops.

Required profile

• Relevant Master’s degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Strong academic or professional portfolio showing potential for continued scholarly contribution.
• Commitment to an academic career and ability to engage with interdisciplinary design students.
