About the role
Amity University Jharkhand in Ranchi is seeking a dedicated Assistant Professor to join its Mathematics department. The successful candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching while supporting the university’s research agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures for UG and PG Mathematics courses.
- Design and update course curricula, assessments, and teaching materials.
- Mentor and guide students on academic projects and dissertations.
- Conduct research, publish findings, and present at conferences.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings and institutional academic activities.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related discipline.
- NET/SET qualification or Ph.D. as per applicable norms is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective communication abilities.
- Prior teaching or research experience is advantageous.
