About the role

The Himalayan Institute of Management Studies (HIMS) seeks motivated professionals to join its faculty as Assistant Professors in Management. This position involves delivering high‑quality teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to research and institutional growth within a collaborative academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Management courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.
• Mentor students in academic and professional development.
• Participate in curriculum design and continuous improvement.
• Conduct research and publish scholarly work.
• Support accreditation, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Organise seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, and other academic events.
• Engage in admissions, examinations, placements, and institutional committees.
• Build industry connections to enhance student employability.

Required profile

• Qualifications in line with higher‑education regulatory norms.
• Preferred: MBA/PGDM with relevant specialization; NET/SLET or Ph.D. as applicable.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated interest in teaching, research, and student mentoring.
