Assistant Professor – Law (Full‑time)

About the role

Apeejay Stya University seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor in Law to join its Faculty of Law at the Sohna campus. The role involves teaching, research, and academic support within a technology‑driven, liberal‑arts environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach a requisite number of law courses and continuously update curricula to match market needs.
• Review, evaluate, and supervise the academic progress of students, including attendance and assessments.
• Guide and supervise student research projects, internships, and career‑enhancement activities.
• Conduct scholarly research, publish in reputable journals, and write proposals to secure research funding.
• Provide assistance for departmental accreditation requirements and support the admission and marketing processes.
• Develop innovative instructional methods by integrating new technologies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic planning.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Law and an LL.M. with at least 55% marks from an Indian university or an equivalent foreign degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic or research position equivalent to an Associate Professor.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and conference participation.
