Assistant Professor – German/French Language

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to teach German and French language courses. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures for German and/or French language courses.
• Assist in developing and reviewing course structures and curricula.
• Mentor students, providing academic and career guidance.
• Design assessment methods, evaluate coursework, and conduct examinations.
• Participate in faculty meetings, subject‑group discussions, and collaborative program development.
• Promote institutional goals and engage in professional development activities.
• Contribute to collaborative research projects as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in German or French language (C1 proficiency required).
• Proven experience as a faculty member or in a comparable teaching role.
• Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
