About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor to join our faculty in Madurai. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and research within a vibrant academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lectures for undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Create detailed course outlines and teaching materials.
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance.
• Assist in the development and revision of curricula.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborative activities.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and present findings at conferences.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and mentor students on academic and career goals.

Required profile

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in the relevant discipline.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated research aptitude with a record of academic publications.
• Proficiency in curriculum planning, lesson preparation, and use of educational tools.
• Commitment to student mentoring and inclusive education.
• Minimum of a Master’s degree; Ph.D. or NET/SET qualification preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is an advantage.
