Chandigarh University is seeking an Assistant Professor in English to join its faculty in Mohali. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, mentoring students, and contributing to academic research within a vibrant higher‑education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement professional logistics to improve student performance.
• Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects.
• Evaluate, monitor, and support student academic progress.
• Create and run career‑enhancement programs and activities.
• Supervise teaching assistants and assist senior professors with daily tasks.
• Participate in departmental and college committees and activities.
• Assess and review student activities and outcomes.
• Design and apply innovative instructional methods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in English (minimum 60% marks).
• Bachelor’s degree in English (minimum 60% marks).
• UGC NET qualification is an advantage.
