Assistant Professor (Electrical & Computer Engineering)

About the role

The university is seeking an Assistant Professor for the Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering (EECE) department. The successful candidate will join a vibrant academic community, contributing to teaching, research, and industry collaboration, with a focus on electric vehicle technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in EECE subjects.
• Guide student projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Conduct and publish research, aiming for at least two peer‑reviewed journal papers.
• Engage with industry partners on electric vehicle initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic committees.

Required profile

• Educational qualifications as prescribed by the relevant Council/UGC.
• Ph.D. preferred.
• 2–8 years of experience in teaching, industry, research, or managerial roles (excluding time spent obtaining the research degree).
• Minimum of two research papers published in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Specialization or strong interest in Electric Vehicle technology.
