Assistant Professor – Education Faculty Position

About the role

The MIT School of Education and Research at MIT ADT University seeks an Assistant Professor to strengthen its teacher‑education programmes. The role bridges disciplinary content with modern pedagogical practice, aligning teaching with the National Education Policy 2020 and NCTE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures for B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. programmes.
• Supervise dissertations and mentor aspiring educators.
• Participate in curriculum design and serve on institutional committees.
• Conduct high‑impact research and publish in reputable, indexed journals.

Required profile

• Dual post‑graduation: Master’s in a core subject (Science, Arts, or Commerce) plus M.Ed. or M.A. in Education.
• Cleared NET/SET eligibility test in Education.
• Ph.D. in Education (mandatory).
• Strong record of publications in Scopus‑indexed, Web of Science, or UGC‑Care listed journals.
• Prior teaching experience in a teacher‑education institution is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
