About the role

Bearys Institute of Technology is seeking a full‑time Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering to join its faculty in Mangaluru. The position involves teaching undergraduate courses, guiding student projects, and contributing to the institute’s research and curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate lectures and laboratory sessions in core CSE subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
• Mentor students, evaluate performance, and supervise internships and projects.
• Participate in curriculum design, departmental committees, and accreditation activities.
• Engage in scholarly research or industry‑linked projects in emerging technology areas.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, engaging lectures and manage laboratory sessions.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.
