Assistant Professor – BCA/MCA (Hybrid, Patiala)

About the role

PW Digital University (PWDU) is launching a digital‑first university under the Punjab Private Digital Open Universities Policy. We are seeking an Assistant Professor to develop and deliver BCA and MCA programmes in a hybrid, technology‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, update and maintain course curricula, self‑learning materials (SLM), e‑content and assessments in line with UGC ODL regulations.
• Coordinate course delivery through the Learning Management System (LMS) and moderate discussion forums.
• Conduct continuous assessments, examinations and provide academic support to learners.
• Collaborate with Course Mentors and other faculty to ensure seamless delivery and quality compliance.
• Maintain accurate course records, analyse learner feedback and recommend improvements.
• Deliver live classes, resolve student queries and contribute to academic calendars and NEP‑2020 initiatives.

Required profile

• Assistant Professor qualification as per UGC norms.
• Post‑graduate degree with at least 55% marks and a Ph.D., or NET/SLET/SET qualification.
• Experience in content development, curriculum design or teaching within an online/ODL setting is preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
