Assistant Manager – Transfer Pricing (Firm Tax)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Transfer Pricing will support the USI Firm Tax team in ensuring compliance with Indian transfer pricing regulations and handling related tax litigation. The role involves preparing documentation, representing the firm before tax authorities, and providing advisory support on transfer pricing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compile Transfer Pricing reports, including Form 3CEB and benchmarking studies.
• Draft submissions, appeals, and letters for transfer pricing litigation and appear before tax authorities.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Generate periodic MIS reports on tax compliance metrics.
• Supervise tax compliance activities and act as liaison between finance and the Firm Tax team.
• Maintain relationships with revenue authorities, external counsel, and tax advisors.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing within the tax team.
• Update process documentation as procedures evolve.

Required profile

• M.Com or MBA with 6‑8 years of relevant experience, or CA with 2‑4 years at a large MNC, Big 4, or consulting firm.
• Strong understanding of Indian transfer pricing provisions and international tax law.
• Experience preparing transfer pricing documentation, Form 3CEB, and handling litigation matters.
• Ability to coordinate audits and prepare MIS reports.
