Assistant Manager - Supply Planning Domestic

About the role

Autoliv is seeking an experienced Supply Planning professional to join its Supply Chain Management team. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production by managing supplier scheduling, procurement, inventory, and logistics coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Release monthly production schedules to domestic suppliers based on sales and production plans.
• Prepare and analyse 15‑month forecasts and communicate material requirements to suppliers.
• Manage weekly and monthly firm schedules, monitor supplier performance, capacity and commitments.
• Oversee direct material procurement, maintain inventory levels, and update MRP data.
• Track planned versus actual deliveries, drive corrective actions, and ensure timely Goods Receipt Note closure.
• Manage freight budgets, accruals, service bill submissions and freight optimisation initiatives.
• Support implementation of logistics standards and systems such as AS051, AS244, AS246, AS247 and Web EDI.
• Participate in supplier audits, continuous improvement projects, and physical inventory exercises.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning, supplier management and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of inventory optimisation and manufacturing supply‑chain operations.
• Ability to analyse forecasts, manage schedules and drive supplier performance.
• Experience collaborating with production, quality, logistics and procurement teams.
