Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

About the role

PurposeBD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Supply Chain for its APM India business. The role will support system integration projects and lead demand planning and inventory management to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support system integration and transition projects, acting as SME for demand planning and inventory during implementation and hypercare.
• Validate master data, manage demand migration, and plan inventory transition to minimise disruptions at go‑live.
• Own end‑to‑end demand planning for the India market, producing forecasts using statistical models, market intelligence and commercial insights.
• Facilitate monthly Demand Review and S&OP/S&OE meetings with Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain teams.
• Analyse forecast performance, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead inventory planning, set safety stock and reorder parameters, and monitor inventory health across the network.
• Identify process gaps, data integrity issues and supply‑chain risks, and develop mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with global, regional and local cross‑functional teams to align requirements and integration milestones.

Required profile

• Experience in demand planning, inventory management or supply‑chain analytics, preferably in a medical‑technology or manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market dynamics into demand forecasts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to drive cross‑functional alignment.
