Assistant Manager - Style

About the role

This entry‑level management position supports daily operations across Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry at a Marriott/W Hotels property in Vagator Beach, Goa. You will work closely with staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe and well‑maintained while upholding budgetary targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments, manage room status updates and communicate with the Front Desk.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, linens and guest amenities; place orders as needed.
• Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public spaces, enforce corrective actions and supervise loss‑prevention procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering for room maintenance requests and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Supervise housekeeping staff in the absence of the Director of Services or Housekeeping Manager.
• Handle guest complaints, review feedback and promote exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year housekeeping experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field (no experience required).
