Assistant Manager – Risk Containment Unit

About the role

The Risk Containment Unit (RCU) at Bajaj Finance seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily fraud monitoring, analysis and reporting. You will work closely with senior management and field teams to ensure zero fraud exposure and maintain portfolio health.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse suspect transactions and produce timely reports for senior management.
• Investigate fraud and dispute cases, perform root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor direct fraud trends and implement strategies to limit risk.
• Own the end‑to‑end RCU process, ensuring fraud loss metrics meet targets.
• Coordinate field fraud management, ensuring case closure within defined TAT and high‑quality investigation reports.
• Support field teams with triggers from central monitoring and track investigation progress.
• Drive continuous improvement of RCU processes, automation projects and dashboard accuracy.
• Propose credit‑policy adjustments and new technologies to prevent fraud before loan disbursal.
