Assistant Manager – Plumbing, Heating & Fire Protection Systems

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager to lead the planning, coordination and quality control of plumbing, heating and fire‑protection systems across residential and commercial projects. The role ensures that all design documents, installations and tests comply with specifications and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Study and review layout plans for drainage, water supply and fire‑protection systems.
• Coordinate with inter‑departmental staff, consultants and contractors for all PHE/FPS work.
• Review and certify measurement sheets and bills of contractors.
• Monitor installation, perform tests on water and sewage lines, and conduct regular inspections of materials and works.
• Raise Non‑Conformance Reports and carry out technical audits for quality monitoring.
• Collaborate with the in‑house MEP department on electrical and mechanical issues.
• Report maintenance problems related to plumbing and fire‑protection to the department head.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for plumbing and fire‑protection budgets.
• Plan and monitor day‑to‑day activities of plumbing and fire‑protection contractors/sub‑contractors on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience in coordinating plumbing, heating and fire‑protection installations.
• Strong ability to review technical drawings and certify contractor documentation.
• Experience conducting site inspections, testing systems and issuing non‑conformance reports.
• Good understanding of MEP integration and construction quality standards.
