Assistant Manager - Network Operations & Support

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead end‑to‑end fiber rollout projects within our Network Operations & Support division. The role involves planning, executing and delivering fiber infrastructure while coordinating with internal teams, vendors and customers to meet quality, safety and timeline targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage fiber rollout projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to budgets and quality standards.
• Obtain Right‑of‑Way (ROW) approvals, oversee material planning, inventory governance and material reconciliation (RECO) to avoid delays and penalties.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, contractors and partners, ensuring compliance with safety, EHS and statutory regulations.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks such as ROW or material shortages, and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections and acceptance processes to meet customer and organizational standards.
• Utilise project management and GIS tools for tracking, reporting and resource planning.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with 4‑7 years of experience in telecom deployment and project management.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale infrastructure projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
