Assistant Manager - Marketing Communications

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Marketing Communications will lead the marketing communication and digital marketing activities for Godrej Chemicals, enhancing brand visibility and supporting business growth through strategic content creation and campaign execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all marketing communication initiatives for the chemicals business, including product launches, promotional activities, and customer‑engagement events.
• Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Google Ads and industry‑specific channels to generate and nurture leads.
• Manage content scheduling and social‑media presence to ensure a consistent brand voice.
• Maintain and update the corporate website, applying SEO best practices and aligning it with current campaigns.
• Track, qualify and hand over leads to the sales team, analysing conversion metrics to improve performance.
• Create high‑quality marketing collateral such as emailers, newsletters, datasheets, brochures, case studies and technical presentations.
• Conduct market research to refine marketing plans and product campaigns.
• Design graphics for digital and print media, including brochures, flyers, banners, infographics and social‑media visuals.
• Collaborate continuously with sales teams and customers to stay attuned to market competition and industry trends.
