Assistant Manager – LPM (Contract Management) – Bangalore

About the role

Infosys BPM Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Legal Project Management (LPM) for contract management in Bangalore. The role focuses on drafting, negotiating and executing contracts with third‑party vendors while ensuring compliance with client standards and US‑shift timings.

Key responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and interpret commercial terms in various agreements (SOW, MPSA, sponsorship, donation letters, etc.).
• Collaborate with legal teams to approve fallback provisions and exceptions.
• Manage end‑to‑end contract request lifecycle from submission to final execution.
• Facilitate negotiations among vendors, client legal, and business owners to accelerate cycle time.
• Perform queue management: follow‑up approvals, allocate requests, monitor aging, and reassign when needed.
• Lead and monitor project teams across multiple cities, identify improvement areas and implement mitigation plans.

Required profile

• LLB degree (minimum 5‑year course).
• 7‑9 years of experience in contract management, legal negotiation or related fields.
• Immediate to 30‑day notice period.
• Ability to work the US night shift (9:30 PM – 6:30 AM IST) on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
