Assistant Manager Infrastructure & Network Management

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Infrastructure & Network Management will lead the design, implementation and operation of enterprise IT infrastructure and network services across multiple locations. Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will ensure high availability, performance, security and scalability of critical technology platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain on‑premise servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix) and storage/back‑up solutions.
• Administer Windows and Linux server environments, handling patching, performance tuning and lifecycle management.
• Manage LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, DNS and DHCP across centralized and station‑level sites.
• Monitor network health and resolve complex issues in coordination with OEMs and service providers.
• Administer Azure, AWS or hybrid cloud environments, supporting migration, high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and cost optimisation.
• Implement firewall rules, VPN configurations and other security controls; conduct hardening, vulnerability remediation and audit support.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in multi‑location IT environments, preferably in aviation, logistics, ground handling or transportation.
• Proven ability to govern enterprise‑wide infrastructure while supporting distributed IT teams.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance and operational continuity requirements.
