Assistant Manager – Indirect Procurement

About the role

KONE India is entering a growth phase and seeks an Assistant Manager for Indirect Procurement at its Chennai headquarters. The role focuses on sourcing and procuring indirect category products and services to support various business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage RFx processes, develop cost models, and benchmark prices for indirect categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations, establish terms and conditions, and maintain source lists and costing manuals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on‑time procurement at optimal prices and manage supplier contracts and performance.
• Monitor supplier KPIs, risks, and savings initiatives, and conduct regular steering meetings for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in indirect procurement.
• Relevant education in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.

Required skills

• Experience with RFx creation, cost modeling, and price benchmarking.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier contracts and performance.
