Assistant Manager - HR IT

About the role

As a member of Unilever's HRIT team, the Assistant Manager – HR IT will support and enhance the Workday Core HCM and compensation landscape. The role ensures data integrity, optimises core HR processes and drives seamless integration across HR systems to enable efficient global HR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Workday Core HCM modules (Worker Data, Job, Position Management, Organisations, etc.).
• Partner with HR, HR Operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Maintain and optimise core HR business processes such as Hire, Job Change, Termination and Transfers.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance and compliance within Workday.
• Configure and manage Workday security, role assignments and access controls.
• Collaborate with integration teams on HCM‑related integrations (payroll, benefits, external vendors).
• Support release‑management activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployments.
• Troubleshoot system issues, manage incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for HR processes and system usability.
• Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards for HR stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience delivering end‑to‑end Workday implementations.
• Hands‑on experience across all HCM areas, including core compensation.
• Proven ability to document functional and technical specifications.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and governance.
