Assistant Manager - Housekeeping

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to support the efficient operation of our housekeeping department at Grand Hyatt Kochi. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will help uphold Hyatt International’s corporate strategies and brand standards while ensuring guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Housekeeping Manager in daily department operations, including scheduling and supervising housekeeping staff.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate attendants and team leaders to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to address guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations throughout the property.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisory or assistant manager role.
• Strong communication and customer‑relation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
