About the role
The Assistant Manager – Housekeeping will support the Assistant Executive Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping operations at Roswyn, a Morgans Originals hotel. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficient team performance across the property.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in directing daily housekeeping activities, assigning duties, and inspecting work quality.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services and equipment.
- Develop and enforce standards, procedures, and work schedules for the housekeeping team.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Support budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and financial reporting for the department.
- Motivate, train, and develop staff, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma from a recognized institution.
- 5‑6 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
- Minimum 2 years in a team‑leader or supervisory role.
- Strong people‑management skills and ability to interact with leadership, guests, and stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with attention to detail and a creative approach to guest experience.
