Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Service Associate (GSA) to join our team at Marriott International in Mumbai. The role involves delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests, ensuring proper presentation and timing.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest inquiries about menu selections and communicate special dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow company safety, security, and uniform policies, and report any incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in food and beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
