Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Assistant Manager will assist in preparing consolidated financial statements for the group, delivering monthly management reports and supporting audit activities. This role bridges finance, compliance and reporting functions, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for group companies and allied activities.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis.
• Perform inter‑company reconciliations and settlements.
• Draft annual notes to accounts and compile P&L and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Collect and process related‑party transaction data.
• Assess contracts for accounting implications and evaluate new accounting standards.
• Coordinate with auditors, manage audit queries and maintain the CAS list.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests from internal departments.
• Participate in testing of automation tools as required.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification; CPA (USA) or IFRS diploma is an advantage.
• Knowledge of INDAS and USGAAP.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word and PowerPoint.
• SAP FI module.
• Experience with consolidation tools such as Tagetic, BPC or Hyperion.
