Assistant Manager - Finance Business Unit

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Trauma Franchise by delivering financial analysis, driving analytics, and leading planning cycles. Working closely with business partners, global finance teams and the Business Support COE, the role ensures accurate reporting and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis for franchise and marketing initiatives, including ROI, IRR and cash‑flow assessments.
• Lead the Business Planning process – annual plan, forecasts, updates and strategic planning.
• Manage period‑closing activities, variance analysis, management reporting and performance explanations.
• Monitor competition performance, drive cash‑flow initiatives and improve forecasting predictability.
• Act as a core Business Partner to the Franchise Lead, recommending actions to achieve plan objectives and supporting strategy development.
• Support new product introductions, evaluate Capex proposals and coach franchise team members.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent finance education.
• Strong business partnering, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and work independently.
