Assistant Manager – Enterprise Sales (Express Logistics)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Enterprise Sales will support Express Logistics in driving revenue growth across the Indian market. Reporting to the Cluster Enterprise Sales Manager, you will manage existing accounts, acquire new business, and ensure profitable relationships throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyse market territories to generate new business opportunities.
• Promote services, plan activations and manage account retention for existing customers.
• Acquire new customers while meeting profitability targets and budgeted sales goals.
• Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual sales and develop plans for short‑ and long‑term growth.
• Maintain market intelligence, build deep knowledge of customer priorities and translate them into sales opportunities.
• Oversee onboarding, billing and payment collection for new clients.
• Negotiate and update tariffs on the technology‑backed tariff management and shipment booking portal.
• Develop and nurture senior‑level relationships to facilitate decision‑making.
• Finalize contracts, set service level agreements and conduct regular business reviews.
• Monitor competitor activity and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• MBA with 5‑8 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics or enterprise services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence across organisational boundaries and work with senior leadership.
• Effective networking, influencing and teamwork capabilities.
