Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Security Head

About the role

The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Security Head will lead security governance and operations for Bosch Rexroth sites in India. This role ensures compliance with national and state security regulations while protecting people, assets, and information.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to security guidelines, rules, and regulations across Indian sites in line with regional and business security managers.
• Act as the country‑specific point of contact for security governance topics.
• Participate in technical security audits, close audit recommendations, and conduct internal security audits.
• Develop and maintain site security concepts, aligning with OMP guidelines and NITRO 2.0.
• Protect personnel, visitors, assets, and information while optimizing resource use.
• Investigate and report security incidents using the Incident Reporting Tool (IRT).
• Coordinate maintenance of security systems (CCTV, ACS, PA, boom barriers, turnstiles) to minimise downtime.
• Deliver training, awareness sessions, and penetration‑testing exercises for security staff.
• Conduct night inspections, monitor returnable materials, and safeguard restricted areas.
• Represent the Indian sites in monthly, quarterly, and annual security meetings and workshops.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security governance, compliance and incident management.
• Familiarity with Indian national and state security regulations.
• Ability to lead audits, coordinate cross‑functional security drills and interact with external agencies.
