Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Public Relations

About the role

Kia India Private Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager for Public Relations to support brand visibility, media relations and community engagement at its manufacturing hub in Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute Out‑of‑Home (OOH) initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
• Develop and deliver media campaigns, press releases and PR communications aligned with corporate reputation goals.
• Coordinate Kia India introduction presentations, PR lobby tours, factory and stakeholder visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with local leaders, village representatives and community influencers around the plant.
• Contribute to corporate reputation and local goodwill initiatives.
• Maintain and update PR lobby screen displays and other communication assets.
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, media partners and external stakeholders for seamless execution of communication projects.
• Support end‑to‑end planning of VIP, media, government and community visits.
• Ensure all communication touchpoints reflect Kia India’s brand values and corporate identity.

Required profile

• Post‑graduation degree in Mass Media, Mass Communication, Public Relations or Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations or community engagement.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate large‑scale events.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
