Assistant Manager – Butler

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Butler will support the Butler Manager in delivering premium butler services at Grand Hyatt Goa. You will ensure smooth departmental operations, uphold Hyatt’s brand standards, and drive guest satisfaction through meticulous service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Butler Manager in leading and delegating tasks to the butler team.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, and budgetary controls for the department.
• Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service flow.
• Monitor adherence to Hyatt International standards and operating concepts.

Required profile

• Relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management.
• Minimum 1 year as Assistant Manager – Butler or 2 years as Team Leader – Butler in a luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, wines and fine‑dining standards.
• Familiarity with butler training programmes (certification advantageous).
