Assistant Manager – Billing & Receivables (Renewable Energy)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Billing & Receivables will oversee billing, revenue collection and receivable operations for a large renewable energy portfolio of over 10 GW across multiple states in India. Reporting to senior finance leadership, the role ensures accurate invoicing, timely payments and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly billing and revenue generation using SAP SD.
• Coordinate with project, O&M, OEM and internal teams to issue Joint Monitoring Reports (JMR) and submit invoices to off‑takers.
• Reconcile billing statements, follow up on payments, and handle TCS/TDS adjustments and other deductions.
• Liaise with Central/State Utilities, RLDC/SLDC/RPC to resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor receivable aging, support cash‑flow forecasting and ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Required profile

• B.E. in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or MBA in Power Management/Energy Trading.
• 4–7 years of experience in billing, receivables or finance within the power/energy sector.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP SD and MIS reporting tools.
