Assistant Manager Accounting – Senior Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Honeywell is seeking an Assistant Manager Accounting to lead its accounting function. In this senior supervisory role you will manage a team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic guidance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statement preparation.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and coach a high‑performing accounting team, fostering collaboration and meeting deadlines.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate accounting processes with other financial systems.
• Stay current with accounting standards and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting, aligning financial plans with corporate goals.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
